Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I use several different alkyd mediums depending on how I intend to work. Several have a gel consistency so they won't run when I put a clump on my palette (Galkyd Gel Medium and Liquin, for example), and others are fluid and create a gloss finish (Galkyd medium and Galkyd Light, for example). ReplyDeleteGood demo.
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy seeing the start of a piece.
Thanks for sharing your process.
Hey Steven,
ReplyDeleteI couldn't catch the name of the alkyd medium you use. What's it called? Thanks.
Steve, thanks for the demo. I always enjoy seeing the progress of a painting. You captured the scene very well. I nice mix of greens and contrasts.
