John,Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I use several different alkyd mediums depending on how I intend to work. Several have a gel consistency so they won't run when I put a clump on my palette (Galkyd Gel Medium and Liquin, for example), and others are fluid and create a gloss finish (Galkyd medium and Galkyd Light, for example).
